Montblanc Greta Garbo Special Edition LEGEND LIKE NO OTHER. On the occasion of Greta Garbo’s 100th birthday, Montblanc has dedicated its first Special Edition for the elegant woman. The extraordinary design with a black barrel, a cream colored cap, both made of precious resin, the very female shape and a clip which is set with a white, round Akoya pearl, and the signature of Greta Garbo make this writing instrument as unique as the goddess herself. The fountain pen is an 18kt gold nib.

LINES OF INSPIRATION. The Montblanc Doué Black & White displays a combination of artistry and technology. The striking lines on the cap are created by hand polishing a steel cap and then applying a black powdered material with physical vapor deposition. This creates a deep, almost lacquered looking black finish on the cap. The cap is them geometrically lasered to in effect remove portions of the black and expose thin white lines from the original polished steel cap. This obvious emotional design element immediately reminds one of the heights of white snow peaks interspersed with the everlasting black rock foundations of the Alps: The black and white foundation found in many Montblanc instruments. The fountain pen is both cartridge and converter filled. The handground nib is of course 18k gold.
