The Conklin® Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack Limited Edition is an exceptional pen. It is made of solid brass, the surface of which is Superblack coated to achieve almost completely matte black appearance. It absorbs over 99% of visible light. Superblack the darkest substance known today. 

To enhance the elegance of each Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack, the clip and parts are adorned with either rosegold or gunmetal plating. Each pen is engraved with Mark Twain’s distinctive signature along the band and is equipped with the original Conklin spring loaded rocker clip, patented in 1916. Tastefully engraved along the bottom of the cap is the limited edition number exclusive to each pen. 

The Mark Twain Crescent Filler™ Superblack is a limited edition run of 1898 pieces. The fountain pen is fitted with a premium stainless steel JoWo nib in choices of extra fine, fine, medium, broad, or OmniFlex point sizes. The popular OmniFlex nib is rosegold on both the gunmetal and rosegold trimmed editions. Each nib displays the Conklin name and features a crescent-shaped breathing hole. The Conklin quality control team tests each nib individually to ensure writing performance. Each Conklin Mark Twain Crescent Filler Superblack is shipped in a luxury gift box with a custom-designed sleeve.
