The LeBoeuf Pen Company proudly honors the American patriot, John Hancock and his famous signature with this stunning Limited Edition fountain pen and rollerball. Limited to just 176 pens worldwide. 

Born on January 23, 1737, in Braintree, Massachusetts, Hancock inherited a prosperous mercantile business from his uncle, which made him one of the wealthiest men in the colonies. He set an example of extreme bravery and unwavering faith by his support for American Independence. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was presented, first and foremost, to John Hancock, who read the words that would change the history of America forever. 

With a determined confidence, Hancock signed his name in large, perfectly formed script, confirming his profound support and loyalty for America’s independence. His now famous signature is a symbol of liberty, justice and freedom. 

Hancock became deeply involved in colonial politics, emerging as a leading figure in the resistance against British rule. He served as president of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress and was a prominent member of the Sons of Liberty, a group dedicated to opposing British taxation and policies. 

John Hancock became one of the most influential and respected leaders of the American Revolution. Hancock risked not only his personal business and wealth, but also his life. 

Each John Hancock Limited Edition features an exclusive Patriot Blue Swirl acrylic, barrel which represents the uniform color of the Continental Army. The barrel has been carefully turned and polished and features John Hancock’s historic signature engraved in gold. The pen’s cap displays John Hancock’s famous quill elegantly engraved in gold. A commemorative gold coin featuring a portrait of John Hancock has been fitted onto the top of each cap. Alternating white and patriot blue stars adorn each cap. 

The John Hancock fountain pen features a German gold-plated nib featuring the LeBoeuf logo in both fine and medium points and utilizes a cartridge/convertor filling system. The rollerball uses a standard international refill.
