Collection: Visconti Van Gogh Prisoners' Round

Inspired by Prisoners’ Round, one of the most intense and symbolic works from the final period of Vincent van Gogh’s life, this new Special Edition interprets the circular movement of the prisoners, the verticality of the walls, and the melancholic depth of the scene through a dense, introspective palette charged with emotional tension. 

In the painting, the figures move in a circle within an enclosed courtyard, suspended in a repetitive and silent rhythm. The space becomes mental before it is physical: a place of isolation, waiting, and reflection, where color conveys both the sense of confinement and the strength of an inner gaze. The shades of the resin recall the cool, shadowed tones of the artwork, while the gold-plated trims introduce a luminous contrast, a precious detail emerging from the material. 

The subtle 18 faceted sides enhance the unique design. All trim pieces are made from solid brass. The Visconti magnetic locking closure magically recaps your fountain pen or rollerball. All Van Gogh ballpoints utilize a Parker-style refill which deploys with a simple twist. Fountain pens feature a fine, medium or broad steel nib and include a converter, but no cartridges. Rollerballs refill with any standard refill offered by assorted manufacturers. An amazing bonus is the dynamic gift box featuring a reproduction of the original artwork.
