The Leboeuf Pen Company honors the famed writer Robert Louis Stevenson with a stunning limited edition to honor the 140th anniversary of the release of his classic novel “Treasure Island”.

The Robert Louis Stevenson ‘Treasure Island’ Limited Edition features a German 14k gold plated nib in both fine and medium point and utilizes a cartridge/converter filling system. The LeBoeuf Robert Louis Stevenson “Treasure Island “Limited Edition features exclusive Orange/Caribbean Blue Swirl acrylic barrel carefully selected to reflect the “Pirates and Parrots “of the Caribbean featured in the Treasure Island novel. Each Orange/Caribbean Blue Swirl barrel is engraved with the very distinct Robert Louis Stevenson signature in white paint. The Treasure Island logo in Parrot Orange paint fill has been carefully etched into each cap. A gold plated embossed coin featuring a portrait of Robert Louis Stevenson has been carefully placed atop each pen.

Early in his career, Stevenson became one of the first authors from the United Kingdom to practice the art of the short story. Through these works such as Arabian Nights (1882), he began to develop the adventure-story narrative that he is known for today.

One of Stevenson’s greatest works started as a treasure map for his stepson. He published his first full-length novel, the classic, Treasure Island shortly after that in 1883. Stevenson went on to write and publish over 24 works from Treasure Island until his death in 1894. His most famous works included another timeless classic entitled The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
