The MP1 Mondrian Edition, titled Composition 1921, channels Piet Mondrian’s iconic grid-based style. Featuring bold primary colors and clean geometry applied to a durable aluminum cap, this edition transforms a highly functional writing tool into a striking, collectible design piece. 

One of the standout features is its grip section and the radiant, crystal-clear barrel, which are crafted as a single seamless transparent piece. The filling system: Lock-It Piston Technology

The MP1 features an integrated piston-filling mechanism that allows for effortless ink refilling directly from an ink bottle, eliminating the need for cartridges and making the pen eco-friendly. The large 2 ml ink reservoir, made of polycarbonate resin, ensures ample ink capacity, reducing the need for frequent refilling and making it perfect for extensive writing sessions. To complement this system, this special set includes a 15ml Monteverde ink bottle, giving you everything you need to start writing immediately.

The Nib

At the core of the Monteverde MP1 is a finely crafted number 6 premium German-made Jowo nib, renowned for its precision and silky smooth writing experience. The nibs are offered in six distinctive point sizes: Extra fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub and Omniflex. Paired with an expertly designed plasma-treated feed system, the pen delivers consistent, reliable ink flow, ensuring rich and even lines without skipping or blotting, regardless of your writing speed or style.
