The Visconti Homo Sapiens Collection features basaltic lava from Mount Etna and resin which are catalyzed according to a secret Visconti formula. This combination creates an extraordinary writing instrument that is unbreakable, moisture absorbent, and velvety to the touch. 

Both the fountain pen and rollerball versions feature Visconti hook safe system where the cap locks on to the pen with a delicate twisting motion which suffices to close the pen and opens the cap by pushing it down and turning it lightly. 

Rollerballs fit a standard-sized refill with lots of color and point size options.
